9 Red: Mount
Nod, playing neat football put Dunlop onto the back foot in the first half but
goalkeeper, Luke Maxwell denied the Highway to keep the score even at half time.
In the second half, Dunlop, led by Ian Farquhar, pushed forward and grabbed the
only goal of the game when Frankie Iaquinta collected the ball in his own half
and took it deep into the Mount Nod area before laying it across for Kieran
Conway to tap into the net.

10 Red: Three
superb finishes in five first half minutes earned Chapelfields a 3-1win over
London Road. Bradley Teggin volleyed in the first from a corner kick, Alex
Winders added the second with an excellent shot and James Hartland the third
with a drive from the edge of the penalty area. London Road battled back in the
second half and Declan Corcoran scored a consolation. Coventry Jaguar and AT7
played out an entertaining but bruising game that ended in a 1-1 draw. The
Jaguar took the lead after Joe Price made a run down the left before threading a
perfect pass through for Robert Tressler to beat Jordan Brandish in the AT7
goal. AT7 never stopped working and always posed a threat with Wyatt Jones
showing his strength in the air, testing Martin Reid throughout. With fifteen
minutes to go, Jones grabbed the equaliser, beating Reid from close range to
level the score.

10 Blue: Caludon
(Ben O’Hara and Corey Carpenter) went into a 2-0 lead early in the second half
against Binley Woods, but the villagers with Rebecca Todd outstanding battled to
draw level with goals by Brandon Sohal and Aaron Hope. The London Road
goalkeeper was in excellent form, denying the Mount Nod attack for most of the
game, being beaten in the first half by a Charlie Cook drive and then late on
when Adam Lumley turned in a Cook corner kick as the Highway won 2-0. AT7 Youth
won a very competitive game with Dunlop 2-1. Nathan Osbourne and Michael Grady
gave AT7 the lead before Lewis Bowles beat the excellent Kyle Bhara in the AT7
goal to pull one back for Dunlop.

11A: Whitley
Juniors had too much pace and power for AT7 Youth in the first half, As goals
from Harry Freeman, Brett Davies and Liam Rutter took the Juniors to a 3-0 lead.
In the second half with BJ Middleton and James Haynes getting to grips in
midfield, AT7 enjoyed more of the play although goalkeeper, Dale O’Donnell
frustrated Whitley on more than one occasion. Callum Fleming and Freeman put
Whitley 5-0 in front before Michael McCloskey scored a well-deserved consolation
goal for AT7 Youth. Referee Lee Proud, who has recently qualified, was applauded
by both teams for his assured handling of the game. Wyken took the lead against
Finham before smart play by Matt Budd and Tom Rawlings led to Budd grabbing the
equaliser. Within a minute, Tom Annett put Finham in front, following up after
Rawlings had seen his shot saved. At the start of the second half, Wyken
levelled the scores but Rawlings and Budd gave Finham a two goal cushion before
Wyken set up a tense few minutes by scoring their third but Finham hung on to
win 4-3. Michael Healy put London Road in front after only eighteen seconds and
then Ryan Haraburda doubled the lead before half time. Ben Lyons pulled a goal
back for Dunlop, stabbing the ball in from close range before Jake Holt levelled
the scores. Holt was then unlucky to see a shot cannon back off of the Lions
crossbar before Haraburda restored the London Road lead squeezing in a shot from
a tight angle before turning provider to set up Martin Key for the final goal in
a 4-2 win.

Road and Coventry Jaguar contested a well-fought game with neither team able to
break the first half deadlock. London Road went closest as the Jaguars Kofi

Swift coolly slotted the ball past the Pinley goalkeeper to put Dunlop ahead
after only four minutes to set off a scoring spree in the first twenty minutes
of the game. A fine free kick saw
Pinley draw level only for Danny Butler to put Dunlop back turning in a corner
by Ryan Williams. Once more Pinley equalised before Butler grabbed his second
goal after only seventeen minutes. By half time Pinley were level again and the
second half proved the defences had tightened up before Butler completed his hat

13 Knock Out Cup Round 2: Finham
scored after just thirty-five seconds of this much delayed cup-tie, Tom Stanley
making the most of a Jonathan Openshaw cross. With the wind at their backs,
Stanley added a second after Jack Blundy had nodded on a throw in by Robert
Palmer. Blundy then scored a fine solo goal before Henry Leaver put Central Ajax
back in the game with an unstoppable shot. In the second half, Ajax used the
wind to apply pressure to the Finham defence but Chris Thomas in goal and Sam
Ballinger at sweeper remained solid. A speculative cross shot by Blundy put
Finham 4-1 in front before Central Ajax set up a frantic last ten minutes when
Leaver scored his second goal of the game but Finham hung on to win.

14B: A
possible title decider between Panjab Radio and Ernesford Dynamos went in favour
of the visitors after their goalkeeper, Luke McMahon, made two crucial early
saves to deny Panjab the lead. The Dynamos went in front with a Sam Cross goal
before Reece Gordon added a second pouncing on a rebound off of the Panjab
crossbar. Nathan Crick struck for Panjab before half time from the penalty spot
despite McMahon getting his hand to the spot kick. In the second half, as Panjab
applied pressure, the Ernesford defence of Leon Simmons, Chris Russell, Michael
Barber and Aaron Carroll negated the threat of the Panjab attack before a Cross
penalty put the Dynamos 3-1 ahead before Russell wound up a 4-1 win for his side
netting the final goal.

It took a late strike by Iain Green to earn Nuneaton Griff the points against
local rivals Chetwynd, Green scoring the only goal of the game. After Andrew
Buswell had scored twice to put the Sphinx ahead, Morris Rangers showed their
resilience as Mark Wright and Chris Wills scored to earn their team a 2-2 draw.

16B: The
first half advantage of the wind helped Wembrook to open up a useful lead over
Pinley. After creating an early chance for Richard Taylor, it was Jarinpaul Tut
who put the home team ahead before Ian Bailey levelled for Pinley from a
penalty. With Matthew White tormenting the Pinley defence, Tut restored their
lead before White added a third after good work from Scott Dewis and Anton
Pearson. Bailey scored a second for Pinley before Jaspal Kaung provided the pass
for Tut to complete a hat trick and on the final whistle, Taylor set up Dewis to
finish the game with a flourish, scoring the fifth goal. Four goals in the last
twenty minutes helped Bedworth eagles to come from behind to beat Ernesford 4-1
whilst Jaguar Colts keep snapping at the heels of the leaders with a comfortable
7-0 defeat of Kenilworth. PSA Peugeot pulled back a 3-1 deficit to earn a
