Under 9 Knock Out Cup Round 2: Tommy Emberson put Chapelfields Colts in front against Binley woods after Tom Curzon had provided a pinpoint cross. Binley struck back in the second half through Joe Northorpe before the Colts goalie, William James earned his man of the match award with three excellent saves. Curtis Cutts then ensured Chapelfields place in the next round scoring twice for a 3-1 win.

Under 9 Blue: Coventry Jaguar attacked from the start with Aaron Tooth tucking away an early penalty award and then they stood firm as Christ the King fought back. With ten minutes left, Andrew Hart added a second goal before the Kings scored in the final minute as Jaguar claimed their first win of the season.

Under 10 Blue: Adam Nally scored the only goal of the first half as both Balsall & Berkswell and Dunlop Juniors carved out chances. In the second half, Dunlop moved forward and a hat trick by Thomas Parker led to a 4-0 win. AT7 Youth took early charge against Christ the King with Alex Foster giving them an early lead. The Kings got back into the game just before half time when Jacob Wells equalised and then enjoyed the best of the second half as AT7 ‘keeper, Kyle Bhara earned his man of the match award in the 1-1 draw. Joshua Pilgrim put Mount Nod in front after a five man movement in the match against Athletic. Charlie Cook added a second before turning provider to set up Daniel Kane and Lewis Power for further goals in the 4-0 win. Superb defence by Coundon Cockerels held Caludon Youth 1-1 at half time before Caludon got on a roll to score five more to win 6-2. Ben O’Hara and Shaun Russell each scoring twice with Thomas Jackson and Corey Shields replying for the Cockerels.

Under 10 Green: Dunlop Juniors came out top in a competitive game with Chapelfields Colts. Defences dominated the first half before Kayne Mann (2) and Sean Brennan set Dunlop on the way to a 3-0 lead and then Eoin Power and Callum Dutton helped repel the Chapelfields attacks for the score to stay as it was.

Under 11 Knock-Out Cup Round 2: Tom Annett and Matt Budd put Finham Park in front at the break against PSA Peugeot Citroen. PSA struck back to level the score but Rawlings put Finham back in front following a cross from Budd. Right on full time, Peugeot grabbed an equaliser to take the tie into extra time where Rawlings, Ethan Hall and Sam Garbett wrapped up a 6-3 win for Finham, Tom Purnell, Leigh Bell and Josh Ward on target for Peugeot. Wyken got off to a great start in their tie with Pinley, goals from Andrew Taylor, Dave Butler and Luca Costa giving them a 3-0 lead. This led to a spirited second half display by Pinley as led by their skipper and hat trick hero, Lewis O’Connor, they dragged the game into extra time before finally slipping out of the competition in the cruellest manner after a penalty shoot out. It was a game of two halves between Christ the King and Rugby Town. The Kings took the first half with goals From Jaymie Trickett (2) and Liam Browne but were then forced to defend in the second half as Rugby took charge. Rich Eaves and Sam Murphy stood firm despite Nic Whittam scoring twice for the Town before the Kings moved on 3-2.

Under 11A: Whitley Juniors put together a fine first half game to lead Dunlop 4-0 before a second half comeback enabled the home side to pull three goals back through Jake Holt, Jack Steel and Stephen O’Sullivan before Whitley rounded off with the final goal to win 5-3, Harry Freeman scoring twice.

Under 11B: Dunlop Dynamos dominated from the start against Mount Nod Highway going two goals in front after only four minutes and leading at half time 5-0. The Highway continued to give their all but could not stop the Dynamos adding to their lead as Amit Gill, Russ Varnam and Sam Lloyd all scored twice and Sam Griffiths, Jonathan Gayton, Adam Jones and Terry Hewins netted once in the 10-0 win.

Under 12A: A lat minute winner by Whitley denied Chapelfields Colts a deserved share of the points in a tight game. With Michael Barnes and Joe Luckett excelling, Jake Burgess put Chapelfields in front only for Whitley to get their noses ahead before Jacob Blackwell levelled the scores in the second half but Whitley grabbed a 3-2 success. Coventry Jaguar Youth and Wyken FC shared six goals in the first half of a fully committed game, before the Jaguar raised their game during the second period to come out top 7-4 as Dale sawyer netted three times and Alistair Gibson twice, John Hayton also grabbing a brace for Wyken.

Under 13 Knock-Out Cup Round 2: Ten man Allesley Eagles battled hard against Coventry Aquatics and despite conceding two goals in each half, still managed to create openings of their own. However the Aquatics defence stood firm restricting the Eagles to shots from the edge of the penalty area before moving swiftly themselves to put Allesley under pressure where Balraj Mann held the Eagles defence together, Danny Harris, Scott Moreton, Sebastian Guraya and Carl Neale obliging the Aquatics with the goals. Massey Ferguson Colts and PSA Peugeot Citroen put together footballing feast in a hugely exciting and entertaining cup tie. Little separated the teams with the exception of finishing off of the chances created where Massey’s outshone Peugeot. Paul Green (2) and Kurtis Bradley scored quite exquisite goals for Massey’s with back up from Jamie Elliott and Nathan Harvey whilst Billy O’Grady grabbed a late consolation for Peugeot with a sublime volley into the roof of the net as PSA finished off the second half in the same way they had ended the first, putting Massey Ferguson on to the defensive. Lower division Whitley Colts battled all the way against their hosts, Christ the King before succumbing 3-0 as the Kings netted through Shaun Gaffney (2) and Jamie Crawley.

Under 14A: Firefighters continued their push for the top after proving too strong for a battling North Warwickshire College team as Ricky Handley (3) and Steve Roberts (2) led their side to a 7-0 win. An end to end game superbly controlled by referee Chris Ward, saw Bedworth Eagles peg back PSA Peugeot Citroen three times before going down 4-3. It was only the Peugeot goalkeeper who denied the Eagles at the death by pulling off two memorable stops to keep the points with his team. Tom Ison (3) and Chris Corkery netting for PSA, Peter Finney (2) and Darren Bartley doing likewise for Bedworth eagles.

Under 14B: Panjab Radio Sporting were sent reeling by Coundon Court in the first half of a thrilling game. Daz Mohan, Ryan Webb and Martyn Stickley put Coundon 3-0 in front as the division leaders struggled to cope, It was a different story after the break as Nathan Crick (2) and David Ashby pulled Panjab level only for Matt Arnold to put Coundon Court 4-3 ahead, from a free kick with four minutes to play but the leaders claimed a point with a 4-4 draw when Crick completed a hat trick seconds from the final whistle. Sam Cross rocketed in a shot just before half time to give Ernesford Dynamos the lead against an equally committed Phoenix FC. With both sides enjoying the same amount of play, Phoenix deservedly got the equaliser before the Dynamos superior fire power proved the difference as goals from Will Waddell (2) and Stephen Sadler wrapped up a 4-1 win.

Under 15 Knock-Out Cup Round 2: Richard McArdle with his second successive cup treble, helped Ernesford Dynamos to a 5-2 win at Hawkes Mill Colts. The Dynamos missed several chances but Tom McLean grabbed a brace to ease their concerns as Hawkes Mill pulled back two goals from outside of the penalty area, Sean Brogan and Kyle McKie on target.
