10 Red: Despite
a bright start, Christ the King went behind to a strong London Road side before
Taylor McGregor rattled in three quick goals to give the Kings a 3-1 interval
lead. After the break, Jack Stephenson made it 4-1 from the penalty spot with
James Ritson adding a fifth. London Road were never out of the contest and they
pulled a goal back only for Lewis Martin to secure a 5-2 win with a cool finish.
Finham Park Rangers quickly took grip against Coventry Jaguar Youth. Early on in
the game, a combination of James Corrigan, Michael Brown and Cieran McGrory set
up Callum Mobley for an opportunity to bring a fine save from the Jaguar
goalkeeper, Martin Reid. Finham went in front after a James Corrigan rebounded
from the crossbar to fall kindly for twin brother Matthew to score from close
range. The same player scored a second goal after good work by Harry Reece.
Jaguar came back strongly and the Finham goalie, Gareth Price tipped a fierce
drive from namesake, Joe Price over the crossbar and just before the end Reid
saved well from George Davison as Finham took the points.

Williams was denied twice by the Coventry Jaguar woodwork as Chapelfields Colts
pressed their case. It was not until the second half before Williams finally hit
the target, scoring both goals in the Colts 2-0 win, the first coming just after
half time and the second a minute from time as the Jaguar pressed for an
equaliser. Mount Nod and Athletic played out a game that seesawed from end to
end. The result was settled in the Highways favour when an Athletic throw in was
headed clear by Lewis Power. The ball was picked up by Charlie Cook who ran at
the Athletic defence, shrugging off two defenders before powering the ball into
the top corner of the goal for the only score of the game. Christ the King
continued with their fine run, picking up another three points after a 5-0 win
over a hard working AT7 Youth. Despite Kyle Bhara once again impressive in the
AT7 goal, t5he Kings went in at half time, two goals to the good, thanks to Jake
Wells. In the second half, the Kings pressed home their advantage with further
goals from Alex Dolby, Daniel Gummery and a hat trick strike from Wells.

Paul Prinzel volley opened the scoring for Mount Nod in their 4-1 defeat of
Leamington Hibernians. Ashley Harrison added to this before Prinzel grabbed his
second to put the Highway 3-0 ahead. James O’Brien then pulled a goal back for
the Hibs but Luke Purvis wrapped up the points for Mount Nod when scoring the
fourth goal. Two Ryan Murray goals gave Pro Santos a well deserved advantage
over a in form Finham Park Colts. David Stokes in the Finham goal then made a
series of vital stops before Ben Bartlett scored twice to level at 2-2 to set up
a frantic finish to an entertaining game. Brinklow Bulldogs finished top dogs
after their game with Dunlop Juniors. Ben Stone put the villagers in front,
doubling the lead on half time. The second half saw Dunlop battling back with a
Sean Brennan goal but Danny Wood put Brinklow 3-1 in front as they finished
impressively.

Park were outplayed by Rugby Town, their only goal coming when Tom Annett
levelled the Rugby opener in the first half before the Town added two more
second half goals for a 3-1 win. Nic Whittam (2) and Craig Murch doing the
damage. Dunlop applied the early pressure against Whitley but it was their hosts
who went in front when Harry Freeman netted following a breakaway. A penalty
award gave Jake Holt the chance to level for Dunlop before he set up Stephen
O’Sullivan to give Dunlop a 2-1 interval lead. After the break, some excellent
passing involving Holt, Luke Elliott and Stefan Grudzinski enabled Scott
Drakeford to extend the Dunlop lead before Holt made it 4-1. Brandon Dacres
pulled a goal back for Whitley before Grudzinski made it 5-2 with a shot from
the edge of the penalty area.

11B: Neither
Coventry Colliery or Dunlop Dynamos could break the first half stalemate but a
strong run and finish by Sam Griffiths put the Dunlop ahead in the second half.
The Colliery quickly levelled with a Jermaine Buchanan strike but Russ Varnam
scored twice, once from the penalty spot, to guide Dunlop home 3-1. Coventry
Jaguar staged a late fight back against Finham Lions but the five goal
advantage, Finham had built up was just too secure. Despite the number of goals,
both goalkeepers played well, keeping the score down at both ends. Finham went
ahead when Thomas Atkins scored with a low shot. Daniel McQuillan added a second
before Daniel Abberley made it 3-0 with a powerful shot. After the interval,
McQuillan added his second after an Atkins shot fell into his path before Harry
Hudson made it 5-0. The Jaguar did not lay down and came back strongly to score
three times through Andy Robertson (2) and Matthew Grainey to set up a tense
finish to the game but the Lions stood firm, winning 5-3.

Sawyer, with a twenty-five yard shot into the top of the Whitley net put
Coventry Jaguar on the way to three points in a very close affair. The crossbar
and goalkeeper, Joe Price then came to Whitley’s aid before John Hayton
equalised. At the start of the second half, a Sawyer corner kick fell for Nathan
Fairchild to put the Jaguar 2-1 in front but once again, Whitley levelled with a
goal by Hayton. With time running out, Sawyer and an Alistair Gibson spot-kick
earned the Jaguar a 4-2 success.

Rangers and Kenilworth Juniors put on an exciting eight-goal thriller. It was
Morris who won 6-2 but both goalkeepers, Satpal Singh (Morris) and Tom Williams
(Kenilworth) denied the opposition many other scores. Morris went in front
through Ameet Heir with their other strikes coming from Ben Warden, Sam Carvill
and a hat trick by Charlie Hole with Alex Craddock netting twice for Kenilworth.
Hawkes Mill Juniors returned to winning ways despite the resolute Binley Woods
defence and a man of the match display by their goalkeeper. With most of the
play inside the Binley half, Daniel Simmons set up Louis Stockil to open the
Hawkes account with a cool finish. Two long balls from out of defence caught
Hawkes Mill out twice and Paul Green capitalised on them to put Binley Woods 2-1
in front at half time. In the second half, Hawkes Mill piled on the pressure but
struggled in front of goal before George Woodward broke up a Binley attack,
moved forward to pass the ball though for David Pelser to beat to Binley
defenders and the goalkeeper to equalise. Hawkes Mill grabbed the winner when
Tim Majaya set Stockil free to score his second from an acute angle for a 3-2

14A: Whitley
Juniors found Coundon Cockerels a tough side to break down. They finally made
the breakthrough when Bradley Deacon put Curtis Marriott through to score from
an acute angle. The Cockerels then had a goal rules out before Matty Jardim
doubled the Whitley lead with a shot on the turn. Dean Kimberlin added a third
shortly after half time before Craig Cunniff scored a fourth completing a move
that was started when goalkeeper Asa Pettit rolled the ball out to Steven Dee.
Dee passed to Deacon who found Matty O’Kane with a long ball and he provided
the cross from which Cunniff scored. Cunniff wrapped up a 5-0 win after Joe Hale
had won the ball in midfield before setting up the opportunity.

nine-man Red Devil side equalised three times in the first half against
Chapelfields Colts before the Colts managed to take a 5-3 lead. In the second
half, as the Red Devils tired, Chapelfields made the most of their superior
numbers to run out winners by 12-3, Scott Carter netting five times. Leaders
White Hart Sports are slowly being hauled back as after taking a 2-1 lead over
Corner Post Colts, they slipped to a 4-3 defeat. This gave Bedworth Eagles, 3-1
winners over Ernesford Dynamos and Jaguar Colts 4-2 winners aginst Wembrook,

18 Blue: The
speed and pace of the Sporting Athletic attack made sure that Coundon Old Boys
suffered in the opening quarter of the game. Sporting raced into a two goal lead
through Chris Blundell and William Cromwell before the Old boys got back into
the game with a fortuitous goal when an attempted clearance in the Sporting
goalmouth, ricocheted off of a Sporting player into an empty net. With the wind
in the second half, Coundon grew much stronger and gained a share of the points
when Lawrence Dann provided a defence splitting pass for Richard Elms to run
onto and coolly slot in the equalising goal past a helpless goalkeeper.
